I'm in the dog house. The day it arrived I thought it would be funny to surprise my wife in bed plus it'd make a good test. It was about 1am, I could hardly control lauging, and while she was dead asleep I blew this thing as hard as I could. Her body started shaking like she was being electrocuted and then she let out a horrible scream. It sounds like a banshee. She threw the light on and was unbelievably pissed when she realized it was me and said "this thing is getting buried". Worse yet, it was so loud the baby in the next room also woke up in terror. I had to sleep on the guest bed. It's loud enough to hurt your ears.
