Fun but not the most practical
Fun idea and works as described, but darned if I wasn't honest here and say I was disappointed by how much you have to pump to get the cork out.
I wanted something easier for my 64 year old mom to use when opening wine. This may take less strength but definitely takes pumping for a solid 20-30 pumps before the cork comes out and it takes a while. I went ahead and got her an electric wine opener instead and kept this for myself. Great party trick, everyone loves it.
