I run an IT company in Brooklyn, NY. I've seen hundreds of SSDs go out to clients and tens come back dead after a while. In the past, I've worked with Samsung, SanDisk, Intel and others. I've found that Crucial MX500 is both one of the fastest and one of the most durable. I have seen much fewer SSDs dying once I started using Crucial MX500 (in any capacity size) Note: do not confuse MX500 with BX500. Those two could not be more different. MX500 is a high performance, high endurance SSD. BX500 is a cheap budget SSD. Crucial MX500 is now my go-to SSD for any built and upgrade.
