An incredible saga! Fantastic fun. I'm blown away. Great series.
I didn't expect el cid. The research is deep and the writing engrossing. All ten trilogies have been excellent, with rarely a wasted word. I loved the story and wished more writers tackled bigger subjects. Very highly recommended to all fans of history.
