I was a little torn about purchasing this spiralizer because I some of the reviews weren't the greatest and I wasn't sure if I would really use it. I have had it for a couple of months and now and really love it. It is very easy to use and easy to clean. My 11 year old son who likes to cook uses it all the time also. It has made eating healthier much easier. We make zuchini noodles all the time and the boys are always making sweet potato and regular potato curly fries all the time. We just put them in a bag with olive oil and any seasonings we like and then roast them in the oven. We've peeled and sliced apples for crustless apple pies and snacks. We also slice the potatoes for doing them rapped in foil with different ingredients over the grill or fire. It has become one of our most used tools in the kitchen. One note is that it does "waste" a quarter inch or so of the end your piece that is skewered to the machine. We cut our zuchini in half without cutting off the ends so the stem and end that you would have cut off is what gets left.
