There's was a noticeable difference in how my skin felt after first use. My skin feels dewy and doesn't feel like it has been zapped of its moisture by a build-up of impurities from unfiltered showering. Depending on how hard your water is, you have to change this filter more often than what's suggested by the Geysa manufacturer. I have to change mines every three months. The return of red rust coloring on my shower stall (after 3 months of installation) is a good indication that I need to change my cartridge. I don't mind the often change, this product is less than 10 bucks; I've spent way more using systems that offered cartrigdes that costed more that the system itself and I had to replace cartridges every 3 to 4 months! With all that being said, I'm happy with this filter.
