Picked this unit up for the spare room, I need some music in the background while I work. It's a pretty quiet space, so I didn't need anything too impressive. The five disc changer and line-in storage bay made this perfect for just turning it on and just letting it play through without my needing to change out a disc or something every forty-five minutes. Admittedly, there was some playback static at first, but after a check that the speaker wires were fine,I shifted the unit over a few inches and it was all fine. Guess it was just interference from the power line in the wall or something.
