Upon reading all the negative reviews, I was hesitant on buying these bulbs even at the discounted price. The main issues seems to have been getting the bulbs to sync. Happily I was able to get all four to sync and work in less than 15 minutes. First and I feel the most important is to only download the SYLVANIA app that has the WiFi illustration on the app. There are 2 available apps for some reason and maybe that’s where all the confusion is coming from. I then installed all 4 bulbs in both my bedroom and livingroom. I then opened the SYLVANIA app and pressed discover. It located all 4 bulbs within 30 seconds. Next step is to go to Alexa and open skills and look for the SYLVANIA smart WIFI app. After downloading enable skill. In the original SYLVANIA app you will then link the app with Alexa. You will then open your Alexa app and group what rooms the bulbs are in. After doing so it is ready to go. All you have to say is Alexa bedroom on and the lights should turn on. You can also say Alexa bedroom blue and the lights will turn blue ....choose whatever color you want and it will turn that color. It’s actually really fun to try out. In summary there are a lot of steps but they are not hard to do. Also I fortunately had no syncing issues mentioned in the previous reviews. I loved them so much I ordered another set for my other rooms. Hope this review helped. Enjoy!
