This thermometer is exactly as described, and is consistently accurate. I have it installed on a south facing patio door. While installing, I was standing on the deck behind the thermometer pressing on the cling part to get all of the bubbles out. I noticed a white screw behind the spring mechanism. I found that turning this screw changed the temperature. After allowing the thermometer to acclimate, I checked the current temperature with another source, and turned the screw to adjust this thermometer to match. No problems since. I checked the instructions and this tip is not on there, which would probably save a lot of people a lot of grief, since you may not be able to stand on the other side of the window you are installing it on to actually see this screw. I would recommend this product without reservation, and will probably purchase another one for another area in my house.
