Because I do not usually spend this kind of money on clothing and am pretty unreliable with completing online returns, I read every review I could find on multiple websites before I selected my size. I still got it wrong (lol). I don’t usually leave reviews, but there is a LOT of conflicting information about the sizing of these jeans out there and I want to share what I found to be true. When selecting your size, I recommend taking two factors into consideration: 1. What is your body shape/type – i.e. where do you carry your weight? If you are someone with more of an hourglass shape or more thick in the thighs/butt, I would follow the guidance of most of the reviews and size up. If you are someone like me with a small/medium butt and legs, I would recommend selecting either your normal size, or one size down. 2. How do you want the jeans to fit – i.e. do you want a relaxed fit or a tighter fit? For reference, I am around 5’7, 122 pounds, and usually a size 26/size 2 in pants. The size 26 Wedgies fit me perfectly right out of the bag. However, based on other reviewers’ experience, 100% cotton jeans will relax/mold to your body over time and use. If I kept the size 26, they would have evolved to more of a “boyfriend” style relaxed fit on me. I personally wanted a snugger fit. I then ordered the size 25. They were tight on me and not the most comfortable right out of the bag (they also made my butt look smaller which was the opposite of what I was hoping). However, after wearing them for a few hours, especially sitting in them, they relaxed and fit me exactly the way I envisioned. I attached pictures of me in both and indicated the size I am wearing in each photo. This is what each pair looked like immediately after opening the package - I did not take a photo of the size 25 after they relaxed, but trust me when I say, they're worth it! Hope this helps someone!
