I think the people who said it doesn't get the greens dry are missing a tiny, easy to miss step in the process. The directions say to unlock it by sliding the small black piece away from the pump knob. The knob still pumps if you don't slide that little thing back so you wouldn't know to do it if you didn't read the directions. Sliding it back releases the knob to full tilt and you get a better result. Pushing hard on the stop button will also sling the last bit of water off the greens. I've owned several salad spinners and none of them completely dry the greens. I just dump them out on a dish towel for about 15 minutes and then do the paper towel/zip lock bag thing. They keep about a week and a half that way.
