The reviews on this item are incredible! People are angry because they're saying this blanket isn't actually "sandproof". What an absolutely insane thing to believe. When the manufacturer says it's "sandproof" they don't mean it's some Harry Potter magic that repels and prevents sand from ever getting on the blanket, it means the sand comes off easily and is easy to clean, and it is. You don't need to worry about it tracking sand into your car or anything after you give it a good shake, the sand comes off and doesn't stick to it. When somethings waterproof, it doesn't mean water can't touch it, it means water won't damage it or get inside of it. Sand WILL get on this blanket, it does not defy the laws of physics. It is not a magical blanket powered by wishes. The sand is easily removed by shaking it off. This blanket also will NOT fly, will NOT make you invisible, and it will NOT give you powers of telekinesis. You can sit on it at the beach and clean it easily though. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble.
