If you are like myself…… I was looking for a gift to give my wife she has a box, a folder, screen shots on her cell phone of Recipes and when she needs one she can never find it. This one caught my eye with the vintage style of the cover. Confused with the negative reviews. Yes the inserts are not hard cardboard but you’re cooking with this book not out in the garage working in your shop. My opinion this is a $45 book priced at $19. The cover is soft vinyl cleans very easy (according to my wife). Her favorite part besides the looks is the dividers for soup & salads, Main dishes, Side dishes & desserts. Also the pocket folder in the back. The only con is the rings of the binder are small it isn’t a very large book to expand when you fill up the provided pages. Removing the pocket folder expands lots more room.
