Love this French press! First of all, the brass accents alone are very aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and the taste of coffee has forever changed for me. I had never used a French press and did not know how to use one, but after research I finally settled on this one. I found that not only are they easy, the coffee tastes so much better. I actually purchased a stainless steel one after this one to keep coffee warmer longer (as this is the ONLY drawback - Coffee does not stay warm long) but I ended up sending it back - while it stayed warmer a tad bit longer, I like the taste of coffee better from glass than I do from steel. That’s just my preference, everyone is different. I also want to say that everyone (including instructions) tell us to coarse ground the beans as this helps the coffee to stay out of the filter system, but I find that grinding beans finer just makes the coffee taste better. I don’t get grounds in my coffee as the filter system works very well. That’s also my own preference. I won’t bore you with instructions as everyone has them in their reviews already. Enjoy!
