Discovered these pants in a sporting goods store and purchased a pair to take on a cruise overseas. These were so perfect that I've bought two more pair. For traveling, very lightweight and they roll and pack into a small space. Being nylon, I easily washed them in bathroom sink and they dried quickly for another walking tour the next day. I typically don't find that lightweight nylon fabrics hold a smooth finish after a few wearings and washings (often they begin to pucker at the seams), I'm not finding this to be the case with these. They may appear a bit lumpy on the hanger, but after putting them on, the lumps disappear and they look smooth and nice. I would not feel uncomfortable wearing these, with a nice top, to dinner. I am 5'7" and 150, wear size 10, and the boot cut looks great. In other nylon pants, after machine drying sometimes the nylon will draw up and they become too short for me, but these have retained their length! Okay, it sounds like I really love these, so why only 4 stars? They have a zipper, a snap and a string tie at the waist. Sometimes to get the waist snug enough (they tend to get looser throughout the day), I find I've tied the drawstring so tight that the pants pucker underneath. For this reason, usually wear these pants with a shirt untucked. These are cool, comfortable, easy wash and wear... A win, win, win!
