I researched MTB Lights for a little while before investing less then $60.00 in this Revtronic 1600 Cree Bike Light - My Riding partner went and spent $200.00+ for two 1800 Lumen Name Brand Lights to which I can compare. I bought one light and mounted it to my riding helmet using a go-pro helmet mount (Saw the video on You Tube). The light is well made and perfect for my needs - the light is bright and the colors on the trail are true to life. I do not run this on turbo but run it on high (I could probably use the medium setting without a problem) and I can get two 1+ hour rides easily before recharging (Maybe 3 rides). The lights are comparable to the high end $$$ lights and light the trails here in jersey very nice. I purchased another Revtronic light to replace a niterider dual beam light that I had for years on my handlebars for my late season MTB workouts. With the two Revtronic lights I can see anything on the trail, I feel safe at any speeds, climbing and downhill are a Blast at nite with these lights. If I get 3 years from these lights at less then 60 bucks a pop that is 20 dollars a year for an excellent light source. With the go-pro set up for these lights it gives me access to a lot of mounting options which can cover a variety of uses. Had a tree fall across the driveway at nite in a storm - I was able to use the light with a ball cap and see great to remove the tree - even my neighbor was impressed with the light. So would I buy another one - Yes - I did - I own two of these - Haven't had a bit of problems with them.
