Was a little nervous to attach my cell phone to the mount on the motorcycle. The mount seems very durable but I was concerned about the durability of the shaft that connects the base clamp and the phone holder. I thought maybe this was the weak point. A lifetime warranty is great but if I lose my cell phone for a $9.00 mount the warranty doesnt mean anything. So I went for a test ride today on my dual sport motorcycle on a very rocky trail. The mount held incredibly well. The rubber band/strap that actually does much of the support of the phone did its job well and the mount itself held tight without issue to the handlebars. The compression nut that tightens the ball/swivel joint between the mounting base and actual phone holder seemed hard to tighten as tight as I thought it needed to be but it did great and did not allow the phone to bounce around to different positions. Overall I felt this was a great test of this mount and I have to say I am very happy with the results since this is probably the toughest terrain it will see with me and it passed perfectly. One other thing to say is that the handlebar clamp itself is very adjustable and had no issue clamping to my fat handlebars. It has 3 mounting options for varying diameters of bars plus a rubber insert to hold it nice and tight to any diameter..
