I would suggest to go down a size unless you have bigger arms. The arms are snug stretchy fabric but the body is kind of maternityish(see photos) it is nicely made and fabric nice (thin stretchy nice feel) but I didn’t care for how it cut up on the sides. I am 5’3 weigh 170 with smaller shoulders/bigger hips. I ordered my typical size- large but think the med might be better for me in the stomach area. Hope this helps
