Falling apart already...
If you read my Moleskine review, you know I LOVE Moleskines, but their recent significant design/manufacturing changes prompted me to look elsewhere and after researching alternatives, I settled on the Leuchtturm Notebook. I want to love this notebook, the biggest problem is that after using it for a day, the seam/binding is coming apart! I don't know if I got a lemon, but seriously, for a relatively expensive notebook, I expect it to be pretty solid. I will see if it holds up and just ordered the soft cover version to see if I encounter the same problem.
Outside of this, the notebook is great, I use a fine point Sharpie pen as my writing instrument of choice and although you can see writing through the opposite side of the page, it doesn't bleed through.
Everything else about this notebook I love, but the fact that the binding came loose, I can't give it higher than 3 stars. I'll post pictures.

Update : 16 Feb 2014.
I felt compelled to update this review and add another star because I absolutely love this notebook! Although the binding did come apart at first, it has held up like a champ after a few months of solid use. I abuse notebooks, they are not hipster accessories to me. I will not go back to Moleskines, I see no reason to. I underestimated how much I appreciate the dots even, they provide guidance so that my notes are not all over place, but are not in the way as to be distracting. Very happy with this notebook!
