Confirmed it works right out of the box with Nintendo Switch!
Pros
- Cost! Nintendo wants to charge you $30 for a USB Ethernet adapter.
- Works right out of the box with Nintendo Switch! I initially set it up utilizing one of the two USB ports on the side of the Switch Loading Dock. But for testing purposes I switched it to the USB port in the back next to the HDMI cable and it WORKED!
- I was able to statically assign the the IP, Subnet, Gateway, and DNS without any problems using the Switch Internet interface.
- No problems setting up a DHCP reservation for this card
Cons
- I wish it was 1000/100/10 instead of just a 100/10
Other thoughts
- I did not need to use the driver disk and I have not tested this device in a Windows environment because it was intended for use with the Nintendo Switch.
