We had a limited amount of money to spend but desperately needed a new mattress because ours was over 10 years old and in really bad shape. I like a firmer mattress and my husband likes something softer so it was a challenge finding something we both liked. Also, I woke up with a backache every morning I have already tried a mattress topper because I didn't want to spend the money on a new mattress. The topper didn't help much. I finally broke down and got this after looking at MANY different options, we settled on this one and we are both SO glad! It is just the right amount of comfort and support, and was a great price! Best of all, we noticed right away that we both woke up without the aches and pains we had after a night's sleep on our old mattress. Absolutely a great purchase!
