Great for Beginner
Just started doing my own gels at home because doing them at the salon got very expensive. The product has a very thick consistency that is easy to work with, and it also self-levels. I like using the thicker viscosity because it allows me more control over where I want to place the product, without it running into the cuticles (which is a main reason why gels will lift). Ive also had my set on for 2 weeks and so far so good, no lifting. Great price for such a large amount of product. Very worth it. I use an inexpensive UV lamp 36 W and this cures in under 2 minutes. P.S. I also used the IBD Bonder as a base, which I attribute has helped with no lifting -------------------------- UPDATE 7/1/14: Somethings that I noticed will make the application much smoother is using a synthetic bristle brush. I prefer a stiffer brush if you are a beginner because it gives a bit more control. I was actually using an inexpensive thin concealer brush for application and it worked very well. Rubbing alcohol will remove any uncured gel product, should you have to correct any mistakes. I will be attaching a picture of how my gels look after the first time I did them. Proof of how easy is it to use. If after curing the gel you feel that the nails are bumpy, you don't need to go out and spend money on a nail drill. Sally's sells these square nail files with various grits and you can smooth them out that way. But again, the self leveling really helps for that not to happen. 9/10 times the bumpiness occurs because too much product was applied. Start with a small amount of product at a time so you can give it time/room to self level.
