Black 11M. I wore the shoes for one day so far. I had no problems with breaking in the shoes. Usually I wear arch supports but I was quickly leaving the house and forgot to put them in. An hour later I remembered I forgot the inserts. It didn't matter. The arch support in the shoe is great It is thick and padded. The height of the heel is very comfortable for a casual shoe. The shoe was so comfy that when I got home several hours later I decided to keep them on around the house--usually I take my shoes off because my feet are so tire and sore from my shoes. I'm thinking of ordering more colors and maybe have a pair just for around the house. I marked somewhat large because my feet were not crowded at all in the shoes. Maybe that is actually how shoes are supposed to fit!
