The last model came with an AC charger plug, This model comes with a flip out male 2 prong AC male plug. You will need an extension cord to charge this unit. You plug the female end of an extension cord to the male flip out plug. Also they quit providing the DC 12 volt charger plug. They now sell it extra for $5. So order the $5 accessory male to male 12 volt plug or you won't have a way to recharge this unit from your car. I like the extension cord charging because if you lose the AC charger they used to provide you had problems finding one that would work. This way, any extension cord will work. The digital readout is good to have as at any time you push the button below the display, you can see the percent charge remaining. It comes with a Tire inflator built into the back along with a switch and pressure gage for the compressor. It also comes with a larger diameter hose with adaptors for filling blow uo pool floats or toys. I used to buy Wagnon power source/charger combinations, but the compressor broke on all three. I have three of these in our family now, and they all are still working fine. You need to recharge them after use or each 30 days to insure they will be at 100% when you need them. It also has a work light and a USB outlet for running any electronic accessories .Great for recharging cell phones.
