This hat is beautiful! Many clothing items on Amazon are replicas and do not actually look like the photo. This hat is exactly like the photo! It is so comfortable and lovely. I parked on the roof of the parking garage to test it out. I have pale skin (between NC 10-15) and like to keep it protected from the sun as much as possible. Color : Navy Blue/Navy with White Polka Dot Interior & bow Size : One size Fits All Features : Stylish Bow, Pony Tail Slit, Chin Strap, Neck Protection, Spf 50, Lace Edge I love that the back portion of this hat is flexible fabric and the front half is thick and sturdy to provide a brim. I have a smaller head, most hats are large on me. This one is still large but not too bad. I did feel a little warm on my head when sitting for about 30 minutes directly in the sun. Update : wore this out on a windy day and the strap works perfectly. The only negative is that the plastic clips where the strap attaches to the hat pressed against my face a little when tightened. I had to adjust it a couple times so that it was on my chin but not too tight. I walked for about an hour and I stayed cool (it was about 90F and direct sun). Update : This hat is still fabulous! I have noticed that I can get white fingerprints on the fabric from applying sunscreen during the day. I wiped down with a damp cloth and it cleaned right up. I get so many compliments on this hat. Update : It's 2021 and the hat is still going strong!! The little bow is sewn down and one corner came loose the last time I washed it in the machine. I packed this for a beach trip and it did great. No sun on me and it was great to wear while splashing around. I wear it when going on walks or when I mow. So comfy.
