These masks are amazing. They allow you to breathe a million times better than any other mask and not get yelled at for not wearing one. No one can tell they're useless from the outside lol. I haven't tried cutting one of the layers out but I'm gonna try it out on at least one of the five I bought. If it isn't too noticeable, I'll do it to the rest. With that said, I personally do not care that they offer no protection. I absolutely do not care if I get COVID, sorry bout it. Already had it. I get that it's important not to spread to the immunocompromised, but since you can still spread it to them while vaccinated (as well as every other sickness capable of killing them)... the vaccine, masking and social distancing are really just a false sense of security for YOURSELF, no one else. Edit/Update : I cut one layer out and you can't tell from the outside at ALL. Even better!! Highly recommend these for those who wear masks to appease the COVID police rather than for protection haha. And for those leaving 1 star reviews "because they offer no protection"... Duh. That's literally the point. Stop looking for BREATHABLE MESH masks if that's not what you want. Do us all a favor and just buy a roll of duct tape instead.
