I got this sports camera to capture images and videos underwater. The water proof case works quite well. No water leak. The 2k and 1080p videos are ok. There is an option to choose the amount of video compression (quality). The audio is recorded at 32KHz sampling rate. It is much better than others that only records at 8kHz sampling rate. In the uploaded video, you can hear people talking even though the camera is inside the water proof case. The microphone is very sensitive. The 4 choices of angles of view are equivalent to preset zoom, but you have to go through several menu steps to change it. At power on, it starts recording automatically after a couple of seconds. This cannot be disabled. There is no separate LED to show recording in progress. You have to rely on the front LCD (after the back display goes to sleep) to know that it is still recording. I'm satisfied with this camera as a substitute for a more expensive GoPro.
