I've been on a mission for years. How to find a scoop that will enable me to set aside my crowbar (actual truth, I used a crowbar. It still sits behind the litter boxes, awaiting disaster), which I used to pry up the cement-like litter fused to the bottom of the pan. I've used plastic scoops (wimpy!), metal scoops (better, but they bend - and eventually break, flinging litter into hair, eyes, open mouth, etc.) and nothing worked, making the daily box cleaning a dreaded chore. This scoop makes my life easier. It's strong. It sifts. It DOES NOT BEND. It does not fling. I love it. With 5 cats in the house (one kitten rescued tonight. Does anyone want a darling 4-week-old tabby?) I need all the help I can get. This scoop is my best decision since I married a man who loves cats (He rescued the last two. I'm divorcing him if he rescues any more). No kidding - buy one. Buy two, and buy some more for your friends.
