Just pay for the professional assembly already
I know what you're thinking: why would I pay for the professional assembly option? I know how to read directions. I can use a hammer and put in a few screws. There was a time when I, too, was once young and naive - like around noon today.
Cons to the professional assembly approach:
* Those couple of hours that you'll be relaxing with your family? You could have spent them wrestling with an uncooperative assortment of plastic and metal, instead.
* You'll miss out on the opportunity to expand your vocabulary of swear words.
* You'll never truly know how strong your marital bonds are unless you test them periodically.
* Oh, and you'll be out about $25.
Up to you.
Four stars because the 2yo LOVED it once assembled. Would have been five, but for the assembly process.
