After much experimentation with the different bacteria septic solutions we have a clear, clear 🏆 winner! Our septic was on its way to total meltdown. An old system we watched what we put into it with the exception of type of TP. It was treated monthly with Rid X but soon the surface water and aroma was there and not leaving. Pumped the system, was massive island of undigested material mostly paper, but a clear indication of septic failure. With system pumped added massive amounts of Rid X and Super Shock put out by Scotch to clear/clean the leach field. Figured that would take some time, within 2-3 weeks water is back on surface. @#$$%!! Well everytime we did laundry there's the water and stench, six months go by, I'm dreading a new system. Keep in mind I've been "Super Treating" this issue with major and frequent doses of the above me the above mentioned. Somethings gotta give. I changed my regimen to Roebic570 and Green Pig 🐖! Still adding a major regimen of both I was determined to make this thing come alive again. TWO MONTHS - Adding 2 packages of the pig and a bottle of 570 per week and then the pig squealed! Just as suddenly as the water and stench appeared, it disappeared! And just for good measure I'm going to hit the system once a month with a dose of both to keep things running smoothly. Overkill, perhaps, success, YES! Save your money on the box of sawdust and the cheap super shock, let Scotch stick to glue, they're better at keeping things stuck! Do 570 and let the pigs out to pig out!
