I absolutely adore this thermometer. I purchased this after my father was diagnosed with leukemia and we need to check the temperature often in order to keep a track on potentially fatal infections. It is a highly accurate thermometer and i have used it even during my dad's hospitalizations. I love that it is very easy to use, especially the forehead readings, as it does not bother the patient during crucial rest moments. I have compared its accuracy with the oral thermometers in the hospital rooms and this is usually off by only 0.2 degrees (please also remember that oral temperature is always a little higher than the forehead one). This thermometer gives you a reading in 2 or 3 seconds and is much, much quicker than the oral thermometers in the hospitals. If the body temperature is a little on the higher side then the screen turns red, if not it turns green. The ear option is just as accurate as the forehead one and for that reason i have not used it very often. I can not stress it enough how much i love this device and the price here is much cheaper than the ones at the local drugstores (and i have looked at several drugstores). Purchase this; you are not going to be disappointed and i am sure every family needs one.
