This is my initial review bases solely on taste and look. The powder is white, completely odorless and flavorless. So I can just mix it in water and drink it just like that. It doesn't have any taste but you can taste a little bitterness if you mix a large enough amount and don't use enough liquid to dissolve it. I'm taking 3g a day and so far, no side effects of any kind. I purchased it to help me with hair growth after watching some videos talking about its benefits. I'll update on that once I've used it long enough. UPDATE I have 4b/4c hair that grows at an average speed. I started taking it on April 4th of this year. With this powder plus a regular multivitamin that anybody should take anyways, here are my hair growth results after 1 month of taking 3-4 grams of the powder everyday: Front: from 9.2" to 9.9" = +0.7 inches of growth Back (nape area): from 7.3" to 7.6" = +0.3 inches of growth Sides: Left: from 8.5" to 9.5" = +1 inch of growth Right: from 8.2" to 9.5" = +1.3 inches of growth As you can see, that's pretty significant growth. Even if the hair in my nape area only grew 0.3 inches, I think that's where my grows the slowest. So, I am very happy that this product lived up to the hype. Therefore I'm increasing the rating from 3 to 5 stars. I'll keep taking it and keep measuring my results. I hope this can help.
