My purchase was made with a great amount of doubt...based upon the comparative price. Once received I followed the directions and let the machine speak for itself. Amazingly, the machine was fabulous. It roamed around the house and did its thing for a couple of hours. It had some trouble navigating over the edge of a high rug yet I understood the dilemma and helped it along. Later I opened the filter and was astonished at the sight of the contents in the filter as it had dust, cereal, and plain old dirt. So far, it is much better than expected. David
