With all the over the top positive reviews I figured they're probably just plants. But after receiving and using it, I can completely agree with all of the great reviews. The balls stick out so when I first looked at it, there's a bulky appearance to it. However, it easily fits in the bag, behind my neck, back, etc. while sitting, and feels wonderful. I have one of the high end chairs that massages just about from your nose to your toes. It has different levels of massage and heat from your neck, Forearms, and works its way down to your feet. I've purchased many portable massagers, and one of them that I stopped carrying with me, I used to see why I stopped carrying it with me, before deciding to purchase this one. I didn't want to purchase another item that would be relegated to the "seemed like a good idea at the time closet." With this massager the first thing I noticed was how much lighter it is than my other portable neck massager. Then I used it, there's so much more massage with this one and the way it's designed it is the best, and closest I can get to my chair in a portable device. With this I will just get each body part until I feel relief, then move it a little. With the handles I can control the pressure applied. When my contracts take me on the road for weeks at a time, now I believe many of my $100 massages can be eliminated. This will also save me so much time as I usually look for a Chiropractor that has a massage therapist that has an opening. So this will pay for itself the first time it relaxes my muscles and relieves my pain, which I'm confident it will do many times. The portability should not be overlooked either. My other one, was more like a small hammer beating on my back, but weighs at least twice as much. Anyone whos carried both a large laptop and a small laptop through an airport knows how much of a difference a couple of lbs makes when you have to carry it for hours. That's why I switched to the smaller laptop, weight. I prefer the larger screen, but when it needs to be carried, the smaller one is my goto machine for the road. So I'm certain I will always bring this along on every trip. No reason to leave it behind because I don't want to "lug it around." But I think with the effectiveness of this massager, even at a heavier weight, I'd still bring it along, so it's just a nice benefit to be lighter. What's going to be a challenge for me is being to find a way to use it on a plane. I have a one lb lithium battery that charges my phone several times, and came with a cigarette lighter socket for portable power, it will be interesting to see how long it will power this massager. Not all planes have a plug at your seat for power.
