I've been doing watercolors for several years and have used inexpensive brushes. I'm a fan of watching watching watercolor tutorials and just could not figure out why their paintings look so much better than mine....I use the recommended paper and artist quality paints, but not the brushes these experts use. After watching a "Mind of Watercolor" tutorial, I checked the brushes he uses and ordered one of his favorites, this Silver Brush. Testing it out immediately after receiving it, I found that the brush makes all the difference in the world! It holds a tremendous amount of water and the tip springs back like none other that I own! It is just awesome! This #8 is a perfect size for the small paintings that I make greeting cards with. Almost every other brush I own will be delegated for other purposes. I can not express my appreciation for this brush.....try it, you'll love it!
