Very accurate, but not perfect. A good supplement to a proper kit.
Checked against a full taylor test kit several times. The readings are fairly accurate. This, like many products, function better if you follow the instructions. I noticed if I kept the strip in longer than a second or two the readings became a bit off. The CYA and free chlorine it tends to be the least accurate in, however, still very close. Also keep in mind, you're dealing with very close shades of colors here instead of counts of drops of chemicals, some of the inaccuracy is due to our own interpretation of the reading. Ultimately, these are great for what they are, a compliment to a proper chemical testing kit and much easier to use. I use the taylor kit to do the initial check when opening the pool, then again as I get everything where I want it. From there, I use strips daily or every few days depending on how often the pool is used. If anything seems drastically off I then go back to the taylor kit to verify. This makes the more expensive, more accurate taylor kit last much longer, while still enabling me to get a fairly accurate measurement as often as I want. The strips are an excellent time saver as well as it can take a good 10 minutes to do a proper 7 way test, where this takes mere seconds.
