I started using this supplement because it is supposed to be antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral. My 93 year old mother had a perpetual runny nose that I was told by doctors was an "old age thing". I started her on this twice a day, and the runny nose has almost been eliminate. I also have a large dog that has had yeast infection in her ears from the time she was a puppy. Over the years, we have tried various meds from vets, ear washes, etc. and were never able to eliminate the infection. Sometimes it was reduced, but it was never gone. The poor dog had painful inflammation, excretion, and odor in her ears for most of her life. I started opening the Olive Leaf Extract capsules and putting it on her food. For the first time in her 10 years of life, the infection is gone. There is no longer any inflammation, odor, or pain. I have also used Olive Leaf Extract in combination with Oil of Oregano to eliminate an abscess in a tooth. Within less than a week, the swelling went down and the pain was gone. In addition to its antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal benefits, Olive Leaf Extract is also very high in antioxidants - much higher than blueberries. My husband is taking it to reduce his breakouts of skin cancer. Since taking it, his doctor is having a much harder time paying for his boat. New breakouts have been tremendously reduced, and, hopefully, they will eventually be totally eliminated.
