This is a great little app, as long as you know what to expect. It's an app to pull out and have fun with friends at dinner, or at your next family holiday party. It's not an app you personally can dump hundreds of hours into (maybe you can), but that's not really what it's for. It has some incredibly deep knowledge, being able to guess even bit-part characters from movies/shows/games/books, and it's always entertaining to see at what point Akinator figures it out. Plus, the more obscure the character he guesses, the more points you earn, which you can use to unlock different outfits for Akinator. The only tiny problem I've had is that if Akinator doesn't guess it right the first time, you get no points at all. While I understand it's possible that's to stop people from grinding points by lying, it's still a little frustrating to finally out-smart Akinator, only for him to take his ball and go home. Overall, it's a great app, and one I always show people.
