First off I was a little irate with this product. I was so excited when it arrived today, that I was tracking Amazon. Okay upon opening this monitor the packaging was done right. Everything you need is in the box. I am a coder and I needed this monitor to work perfectly with my Macbook Pro 2020 version. This is from my experience others may have not experiences the trails and frustration I dealt with. I was seriously debating on returning it to the UPS store. I couldn't get the picture to work. I worked on it for about 30 minutes and started surfing the web. I came across a video and watched this guy plug it in on the left side and it worked. So it will help to read and look at the pictures in the booklet first. To save you the hours of frustration I experienced with this product, I will give you the information you need for this to work minutes out of the box. If you want to read this instead of the book. 1. Plug the USB-C port into the left side of the monitor. (I did all the other ports except that one.) 2. Plug into your USB-C port and the picture will work. No stand by or black-outs unless you use all the other ports besides the one on the left. 3. Issue: How do you have more than one thing on the screen? System preferences>display>arrangement (important!) The white box in the arrangement tab above the box, that is your Macbook. The second box is your monitor. If you want the monitor on the right side, move the box without the white bar over to the right. The same goes for the left. Now drag that picture over to the side your monitor is on and Bam!!! Beauty! 4. Problem: You don't want to use the volume on the monitor you'd rather listen on your Macbook. System preferences>sound>output>slide that over to MacBook Pro speakers and take it off that Z1 crap. (That took me a while too.) Overall, after the stress and migraine, I endured trying to figure this product out. I will have to say it works perfectly for my needs for now. You better bet your bottom dollar if I have one issue with this product I will be returning it ASAP! Spending more than a hundred dollars on any product during COVID 19 is too much. Overall I am glad I made this purchase and I'm glad I didn't take it to the UPS store to return it.
