We recently had to replace our 1957 extremely high flow toilet with a new fangled low flow model. Unfortunately, our family was ill prepared for such a luxury item and naively failed to realize old habits were quickly going to create an ugly situation. We were so enamored with our non-slamming toilet seat that we didn't realize the imminent disaster we were facing until it happened...The flush that wouldn't flush...A demonic clog, stubbornly refusing to budge an inch in our pipes. We broke out our rarely needed but old and reliable plunger only to learn the hard way it was absolutely impotent for the task at hand. The internet saved the day with helpful tips on warm water with dishwashing liquid plus snaking the toilet, but two hours of splashing in fecal filled water was NOT fun. The next day, we went to a large retailer and purchased a new plunger. Sadly, it, too, was thwarted a few days later when one of our children failed to combine a courtesy flush with holding the handle down to allow maximum flow. We were back to snaking, soaping, and warm water dumping thanks to the new yet entirely ineffective plunger. Something HAD to give! Cue much internet searching, hundreds of reviews read, and a leap of faith to bring the Beehive plunger into our home. No sooner had it arrived than we were presented with another opportunity to engage in amateur plumbing activities. Only this time, the plunger worked! It worked so quickly we thought maybe it was a fluke. Alas, we've had the chance to use it *several* more times, and I'm thrilled to report it has continued to perform like a champ!! Buh-bye to hours of frustration and fecal matter sloshing onto our floors & gloved hands! Thank goodness for this product!!
