I'm a big guy. 6'4" tall and almost 400 pounds. Needing to begin a more healthy lifestyle, I purchased this bike. The low gears make it possible for me to start slowly. I am impressed with the heft of this bike. It handles my weight just fine. The money spent on having it professionally adjusted was an investment in ease of use and well worth the price. The bike shop recommended that I upgrade the crank bearings, which I did, and the wheel bearings, which I did not. I'll upgrade those when necessary. For me, the seat was a bit narrow so I corrected that with a "Cloud 9" seat. Otherwise, I have no issues. The tires smooth the terrain. Dirt roads are no challenge. Glad I made this purchase.
