Was v happy to find this head— and it’s reason-for-being— after sacking *THREE broken or unserviceable wands in this one house in the last year! The hyped mirror plastic ones look good on the shelf, but NONE last, even Brand names at premium prices, which often fail at the controller, head washers, or crack while turning the selector.) This chrome/brass one seems well-made for only a few more units in cost, so high marks on VALUE— and the hose seems the best one we’ve had. The head may seems a tiny bit thin at the inlet connection— a turned, tapered connection would be an easy addition. If for no more reason than weight (compared with plastic heads), that would never convince me to buy plastic again. [Nylon, MAYBE (Oxygenics is great for outside or an RV)]. The holder fits fine, if not rock-solid; take note, Hammerhead! Spray and pattern is fine— tho wife would like to have a pulse option (only on occasion). I noticed the reduction washer and avoided it. Washers are adequate, and MUST be installed because threads do not taper. *Three turns of Teflon thread tape is the professional standard— and must be wound in the righty-tighty direction. The provided tape is certainly of adequate quality, and a suitable wrench was provided. Very satisfied in the past month!!
