These are truly great panels! I did a ton of research over several weeks before settling on these. I live in a fairly small apartment with neighbors and wanted a solution to both control sound reflections and insulate/absorb sound to reduce transmission through walls. The panels are very effective in mid to upper frequency ranges. The furniture in the room act like bass traps to control the lower frequencies. I also live on a very noisy street and wanted to control the amount of outside noise that bounced around inside the room. Previously, I had to turn up the tv volume pretty loud just to drown out the outside noise. I measured levels before and after. Adding the panels made a 6 - 10db difference in background noise, which is very noticeable...
