Just received my white X large and it fits great. Snug but with room to move. Since starting a regular Kettebell program a few months ago my shoulder and arms are more muscular. I have wide shoulder anyway so could not decide between the L or X Large. I am '5 7" 140 lbs.. The padding is just enough that I don't feel like a porn star. I immediately ordered the black today :-). As already noted the material is super soft. Don't know yet if is washes ok. HINT: I find if I use a lingerie washing pouch and cold water my workout clothes last longer.
