My daughter uses this cup 24/7 for water only (except once a week when I wash it) She loves it and I love it. The mouth piece is made of hard plastic. She bites and chews but hasn't ruined it. I think we've had this cup for close to six months? I think the printed design deteriorated because of oil and bug spray (from little hands). If I was willing to wash by hand, perhaps it would still look good? However, I love that the color of the plastic and the top are still super cute without the printed design.
