We love this ice tea maker for convenience and it’s so easy! How to make Southern Sweet tea: fill pitcher with cold water to the waterline then pour into the reservoir. Add 1/3 to 1/2 cup of sugar to the pitcher. Add just enough hot water out of your tap to liquefy the sugar. You are making a simple syrup, stir it up really well and it may take 5 to 10 minutes for the sugar to dissolve nicely in the hot water. After the sugar dissolves, add ice to the water line in the picture and leave the simple syrup sugar in the bottom of the picture underneath the ice. Put five teabags in the brewing basket and turn it on. It’s really that simple, once the tea brews, just stir the tea with a long spoon and pop in the refrigerator. You will have sweet tea all day long! I highly recommend this ice tea maker!
