I purchased this item for my 8 year-old granddaughter. She has recently become fascinated with sewing, but honestly, I did not have high expectations of this product based on past experiences with similar products.I am so glad to report that I was very, very wrong! This is a wonderful children's sewing machine - easy to use and doing everything the manufacture promises. This as a great way to introduce kids to the art if sewing while also having fun!
