When I first assembled and installed this, I balked at the amazingly poor water pressure my shower now had. Then I came on amazon and read some reviews. A few other folks had the same problem. Then I did a little research (I did the whole process backwards, right?). If you assemble the sprayer EXACTLY like it is in the main picture here, you will have no low water pressure issues. There's a silver connecting piece that goes from the hand unit to the hose; don't use it. This is the choke on the water pressure. Once I removed that from my assembly, the sprayer worked exactly how I'd hoped it would. HTH
