I do not usually buy dresses like this, because I've always been worried about the lack of straps, and believed that they often make women's chests look too compressed, but I have been very pleasantly surprised with this dress! First of all, the quality is good. The fabric is a good weight for summer, light but not so light that it feels cheap or flimsy. There were no visible loose threads and all stitching is even and tight. The elastic around the top is very well constructed, and doesn't push down on the chest at all. It does not feel restrictive but does feel secure. The skirt is a cute length, and feels light and airy. It would be especially flattering to anyone with an hour glass figure. It's very comfortable to wear, and I found myself putting it right back on when I had to run to the store after the beach because it's just so comfortable and cute! I wore it with flip flops on the beach and felt pretty and femanine while still being beach appropriate, but it could easily be dressed up with a statement necklace and a heeled wedge sandle. I am VERY happy with my purchase and never expected to like this dress style as much as I do! I highly recommend it to anyone needing a comfortable summer dress or even a cute and easy beach cover up!
