This unit is easy to use and I like that the temperature can be changed in 1 degree increments. I would also say this unit is very quiet. I have it in the other room but my old Nesco could be heard but not this one. I keep the plastic tray it comes with on the bottom for easy clean up. The wire trays also clean up easily. Just give it as quick soak and if you have a brush type dish cleaner, it's a breeze... or just stick them in the dishwasher! I mainly purchased it to make beef jerky for us and treats for the dogs. I am satisfied with this unit and I recommend this dehydrator for anyone looking for something that has a wide range of temperature, time and is priced well.
